We Need Feminism!

#Feminism
She asked what time the sun sets,
So she could walk home in it's light,
Because she'd heard it's far too scary,
To be on the streets at night.
She asked when they would teach her,
What the whistling calls, meant,
But they said she should feel flattered,
It was a type of compliment.
She asked where the saying came from,
That “Oh,boys will be boys”
And why there wasn't one that told them,
That “Girls are not your toys.”
I need feminism because,
It’s acceptable to call me a slut,
It’s okay for a guy to slap my butt,
It’s my own fault if a man rapes me,
I should look good for men to see,
People think it means 'anti-men’,
I can't do things that men can,
My feminity makes me weak,
If I act masculine, I’m a freak,
My boobs are my best quality,
I believe in equality.
So, I need feminism.
Feminism is the belief in social, political, and economic equality of sexes. It is allowing women to be many things they weren't before, but not everyone sees feminism as a beneficial thing. The greatest lesson a women should learn is that since day one, she’s already had everything she needs within herself. It’s the world that convinced her she did not.
